Ayurveda is the world’s oldest healing science, originating in India over 5,000 years ago. Based on the five elements - ether, air, fire, water & earth, Ayurveda suggests that our inner physiology is a reflection of the outer world around us. “As is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm”. Wellbeing is a state of balance between mind, body, spirit and the natural world.

Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us that each individual has a unique constitution or dosha and through our understanding of the mind-body types, Vata, Pitta & Kapha, we can achieve harmony and good health.

Ayurveda recommends dietary, lifestyle and seasonal practices that promote longevity and ward off disease.

Food is medicine.

You are what you digest. Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of eating freshly prepared, wholesome and seasonal foods that you can digest well. Agni or strong digestion and appropriate diet are foundational to wellbeing. And we must remember that pleasure is equally important as food is nourishment for the body and soul. With that in mind, Moonji has created plant-based ice creams with natural ingredients, digestive spices and no preservatives - so that you can enjoy life and digest it well too.

We are very grateful to have our very own Moonji Ambassador - Rachel Spillane is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher & Doula based in Nevada.

Her practice, Saraswati Ayurveda, empowers clients with the knowledge, tools, and support so they can heal naturally. She specializes in digestion, hormones, and reproductive health. Her passion for nature and food as medicine helps clients to find balance in fun and delicious ways. Rachel works with clients around the world, offering one on one support, workshops and retreats.
